The decision regarding the Village Hall reconstruction project will be made in early September 2026. The primary consideration will be whether sufficient funding is secured from our four principal sources—Fundraising, Grants, Donations, and a Public Works Loan—to cover the costs of the project.
Some individuals may prefer to pledge funds contingent upon confirmation that the new Village Hall will proceed. Please note that any donation payments made for bricks, or via JustGiving or bank transfer, will be refunded if the decision is made not to continue with the project.
This can be accomplished by completing a Gift Aid form, marking it with ‘PLEDGE,’ and returning it to 1 Lye Common; payment would only be required once we confirm that the project will move forward.
This approach would provide the CIO Board with greater transparency regarding available funding and better position us to make an informed decision.
