Summary: The survey results show clear support for proceeding with Phase 1 of the Village Hall rebuild and for the proposed Precept increase, the tender process has identified Wilkins Builders as the preferred contractor, and the project is expected to have sufficient funding subject to approval of the Public Works Loan.

CM VILLAGE HALL: TENDER PROCESS UPDATE
The Village Hall Re-build Committee has received tender submissions from four contractors and are now working through a detailed like-for-like comparison to ensure consistency and value for money. A further update will be provided on 26th August, in line with the Parish Council’s publication schedule ahead of their public meeting in the Village Hall on 2nd September 2026.
