The Village Hall was packed with 70 villagers who listened to a presentation which clearly explained the current situation regarding our project to replace the Village Hall. This covered the current status re: funding and the four options we have for moving forward to achieve our goal of a new Village Hall. There was a lively discussion and a number of questions asked. The meeting closed with a ‘straw-poll’, this gave overwhelming support to the option to build on the current village hall footprint and increase the usable floor space of the hall, by 50%, by squaring off the rear from the toilet block to the storeroom.
