CHRISTIAN MALFORD VILLAGE HALL UPDATE (7 DEC 2025)

November has been an important month for the Village Hall redevelopment. Planning permission has now been granted for the rebuild scheme. With this key milestone reached, the fundraising campaign has moved into an expanded phase, pursuing a wide range of grants from both national and local organisations. Fundraising through village events — and now through donations — has already proved successful and will continue throughout the project.

The Grants Campaign Team now includes 21 members who are progressing applications to an initial list of more than 30 promising funds and grant providers. Additionally we are preparing another bid to the National Lottery.

A second wave of applications is expected to follow, targeting further funding sources, including potential sponsorships. As funding opportunities can change quickly, new leads are continually being added. We welcome any suggestions for additional funding or support, as well as new volunteers who would like to join the Campaign Team.
