VILLAGE HALL UPDATE – 31 AUG 25

We had expected the planning decision by 1 Sep 25; however, the Planning Officer has requested an extension to 8 Oct which we have agreed. Currently we only have the Ecology department to satisfy before Planning approval can be granted. There are currently 3 items outstanding:

Ø Preliminary Ecology Assessment (PEA

Ø Bio-diversity Net Gain Report (BNG)

Ø Bat survey

Two quotes have been requested; we are reasonably confident that we can get both the PEA and the BNG completed before the end of September. We are in discussion with planning re: whether a further bat survey will be required given that one was recently conducted as part of the existing planning approval.
